When should I be baptized?
As soon as you have personally placed your trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Where do I come for Baptism?
At the end of the service, please come to the front of the platform where our pastor will be waiting and introduce you to the church and we will listen to your pre-recorded story. On Sunday mornings we baptize at approximately 11:00 A.M. in the baptistry at the beginning of our worship service unless you choose to be baptized in a lake, river or swimming pool.
What do I wear?
Bring your baptism clothes to the service. Women/girls should wear shorts or pants and a (non-white) top rather than a swimsuit, or a dark colored t-shirt that completely covers the swimsuit. Men/boys should wear a swimsuit or shorts, and a dark colored t-shirt. Bring a change of clothes, a towel, and a plastic bag for wet clothes.
Will I have to say anything - What can I expect?
The Pastor will ask you what is the decision you have made? You might want to reaffirm your decision to follow Jesus Christ. Our pastor will say a few words and briefly lower you just below the surface of the water and then bring you right back up. A Bible and signed certificate of baptism will be given to you.
Can my family be baptized together?
Yes! If each family member understands fully the meaning of baptism, and each one has personally placed his/her trust in Christ for salvation, we encourage families to be baptized at the same time.
